AG officiate at special school graduation

12309964_1058969644135970_962077491614606456_oGovernment is ensuring no Fijians are left out especially those who need special care in the development of the nation.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony of Lautoka School of Special Education students, Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed- Khaiyum says it is crucial to mainstream persons living with disabilities.

Sayed-Khaiyum says government is including the persons living with disabilities in every aspect of development.

He adds government will also provide funding for persons living with disabilities to go to the universities.

School grants for Special School has also been increased from $250 per child to $500.

“It is also very important that our school system recognizes the persons living with disabilities and they do not get left out. They are obviously very talented who can make contribution to the economy and as a government we must always ensure that anybody that has an ability to contribute always contributes,” said the Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.
