A man is dead following an alleged brawl that took place in a Nausori nightclub early this morning.
Police spokesperson Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri says following the incident the man was discovered lying unconscious on the nightclub floor.
He was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
A suspect is now being questioned by police.
The deceased is yet to be identified and police are appealing to the public for any information.
Also, another man lost his life following an accident when he fell off the back of a logging truck.
It is alleged the man lost his balance, when the logs tumbled onto the road,crushing him in the process.
The driver has been questioned with police investigations continuing.
