The Fiji FUTSAL side put up a much improved performance against New Zealand last night in the Trans Pacific Cup in Auckland.
Fiji lost by four goals to one which is a much better result compared to their two previous outings against the FUTSAL Whites
The national side lost by 8 goals to nil in the first match and 7-2 in the second game.
Former Suva rep Mira Sahib is the only player with international FUTSAL experience in the team.
The side will be back in the country next week before they prepare for the OFC Championship which will be held in Fiji next February.
