Screen shot 2016-01-29 at 5.10.26 PMA faith based organisation today launched its $5 million plaza.

The Harvest Plaza will not only create more employment but provide more services in the Nasinu area.

A testament to the determination of those who belong to the Christian Mission Fellowship International church.

A three level plaza – the further expansion of the church’s investment in business.

“The opening of the Harvest Plaza complex reflects the commitment of CMFI and not just a spiritual legacy but an institution committed to the development of Fiji and her people socially and economically,” said the President, Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konrote.

The Harvest Plaza property was acquired 21 years ago and to a church that is no stranger to finance and capital acquisition, their dream is to continue growing.

“Our key objective of the plan under the areas of finance is the development of a long term sustainable source of capital as a result the church launched the Macedonian Global Fund in 2014 to raise funds through a grant funding platform for the financing of projects like this commercial project in Kinoya,” revealed CMFI president, Reverend Suliasi Kurulo.

Members of the church helped build as well.

“The 18 months of construction saw more than 300 church volunteers grabbing the opportunity to sow their time and learn new skills during the different stages of the project. Among the volunteers were our Bible College students, church pastors and members and even some missionaries who were preparing for their missionary,” said Michael Makasiale, the Director for the Harvest Group of Companies.

The Harvest Plaza is a three storey plaza that includes a supermarket.

“Members of the public will now have access to services from retail outlets selling stationary and merchandise, musical instruments, hairdressing, cosmetics, clothing and I’m told we have a business centre. The new plaza also has a food court that serves a variety of Indian, Chinese, Fijian and European dishes 6 days a week,” revealed President Konrote.
