Government is continuing to install water systems for rural communities.
During his tour of the Western Division, Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama commissioned a new reticulation system for more than 100 families of Natuvu village in Nadroga.
For these families it was a special occasion as they will no longer need to access drinking water from a creek.
This follows the commissioning of a new reticulation system by the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama.
The new system has been completed at a cost of more than $39 thousand dollars and will serve not only the eleven families nearby, but also two churches.
Bainimarama also informed the people of Natuvu that the Mineral Resources Department will conduct awareness on the proper usage and management practice of the borehole.
