A 7 year old student is recovering at the Waiyevo Hospital after being hit by a vehicle yesterday.
The incident happened at about 6pm at Naiyalamudu Settlement.
It is alleged the vehicle hit the student when he suddenly ran onto the road.
The 34 year old driver is now being questioned by police.
