The National Federation Party will be back in action when parliament resumes next week.
This follows an announcement this past hour by the Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem confirming the decision.
The decision follows the party’s compliance with the Political Party Registration Decree.
“The suspension has been lifted with immediate effect and the Registrar has accepted the audited account produced by the National Federation Party. We have also have sent to Mr Naidu a notice and through this notice which will be appearing in both newspapers tomorrow. we will notify the general public that the suspension of the National Federation Party has been lifted. The lifting of the suspension of the National Federation Party as a political party under the Decree the National Federation Party is with immediate effect entitled to all the rights and privileges of a registered party in Fiji under the laws,” said Saneem.
