Flanker Ardie Savea says they are pleased with the tackling effort shown right at the end. The visitors finished the game with 14 men – Victor Vito sent to the sin bin for a professional foul.
“For the guys to defend like that shows they really wanted it,” Savea told the offical Super Rugby website
The All Black Sevens player admits they allowed the Blues to gain momentum.
“But we let them into the game, we can’t do that.”
The Hurricanes host the Force next week in Palmerston North.
