The Methodist Church of Fiji is reminding all citizens that in times of difficulties we must remember that in all our struggle, God is with us.
In his Easter Message, President, Reverend, Tevita Nawadra says that he hopes that after all we have gone through as a nation that we will affirm our faith with God.
Reverend Nawadra adds that one thing that strikes him during this time of difficulty is how we as a nation have responded to this cyclone.
He says that Easter is not only a time of self-reflection on what the cross and empty tomb mean for us individually but, perhaps more importantly, it is a time for us to reflect on how it can bring us together and move us forward.
The Methodist Church, President belives that the local responses to Cyclone Winston is a demonstration of a sense of community that goes beyond denominational boundaries to work together to provide for those in need.
Reverend Nawadra adds that this communal aspect of our nation is our main strength and a source of unity.
