The Land Transport Authority has received close to 3 thousand complaints for the first quarter of this year.
A total of 2,968 complaints were received by the LTA through the free texting code 582.
1,069 complaints was received in January, 1,172 complaints in February and 727 complaints were received last month.
LTA CEO Naisa Tuinaceva said there were 675 complaints about illegal operation, 175 complaints of use of a mobile phone while driving, 159 complaints of careless driving , 158 complaints of dangerous driving and 139 complaints of excess load .
Other common complaints also received by the LTA are the breach of Public Service Vehicle Code of Conduct, irregular bus services, defect taxi meters, drunk driving and driving without a valid driver’s license.
