The Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Football championships is ready to kick off at Ratu Cakobau Park from tomorrow.
Team and officials of the Fiji Secondary Schools Football Association have started to arrive in Nausori.
Officials wasted no time today, as they were out at Ratu Cakobau Park checking out the facilities and the pitch.
With wet weather expected through out the week, officials believe though the ground is in good condition for the three day tournament.
“We just came to check all the facilities and the ground condition here at Ratu Cakobau Park, it looks perfect and the council has maintained the level of the pitch so expect a good tournament here from tomorrow, said the Fiji Secondary Schools Football Association President Aminesh Ram,
24 teams in total will take part in the Under 15, 17 and 19 grades.
New schools such as Latter Day Saints, Kavanagasau and Vivekananda Technical Center could pose threat to top guns.
The tournament kicks off 8.15 am tomorrow.
Finals will be played on Wednesday.
