$60M worth of construction work since January

60 million dollars worth of construction work has got underway since the first quarter of the year.

This amounts to 379 building permits issued by Government.

There has been a decrease in the number and value of building permits issued when compared to the December quarter of 2015.

Of the $60 million dollars of building works approved, the Fiji Bureau of Statistics says 59.8 per cent was accounted for the Western Division, Central and Eastern made up 38.7 percent while the North accounted for 1.5 percent.
