The parent company of pay television Sky Pacific has revealed that they are now working to jump on the digital Walesi platform.
Digicel Fiji CEO Darren McLean says they are excited to enter the free to air market.
We have universal coverage all over the pacific and its not that we cant get into Fiji, we realize that there are some advantages in the Walesi platform some customers will have to have that to catch free to air television and there is some very good picture quality coming through Walesi, so we fully intend to support Walesi and to bring some or all services ideally channels on the Walsei platform.
The telco says they are expecting to roll out services on the digital platform by next month or two, after they finalize technicalities with the Telecommunication Authority of Fiji and the Ministry of Communications.
