More than two months to go until the Dubai 7s, and World rugby has today released the pools for the tournament.
Olympic gold medal winners and 2015-16 series champions Fiji will look to defend their Dubai title in Pool A this year.
The side has been drawn in Pool A with Argentina, Wales and Canada.
Fiji will enter the competition with a new head coach after Ben Ryan’s decision to bow out after Rio, but they will be hot favourites to come away with silverware following back-to-back series wins.
Pool B sees South Africa, USA, Scotland and a To Be Confirmed team collide while in Pool C New Zealand, England, Samoa and Russia will face off.
Australia, Kenya, France and Japan are in Pool D as the 16 competing sides look to build on the platform Rio’s Olympic Games has given.
Dubai 7s will be held on 2nd and 3rd December.
