The Fiji Roads Authority says they were only able to question the large bill issued by MWH following closer scrutiny of the work they had done.
The FRA wants the MWH to re-look at their claims and amend their invoices.
This after stringent scrutiny of the invoices were done.
FRA CEO believes the numbers are way too much.
Let’s just say we have taken a far closer look at their claims more recently and we are not necessarily satisfied that what they were charging us for was necessarily what we were receiving.
The possibility of whether MWH had breached the Commerce commission decree in over charging the them for the work they had done is also being explored.
Dialogue between the two parties has not been carried out in an official capacity.
Any formal correspondence will now be to done through the legal teams.
