And it will be a big day in Fijian Rugby history tomorrow – as skipper Akapusi Qera will make his 50th appearance for the Flying Fijians.
Qera joins the list with Nicky Little, Seremaia Bai and hooker Sunia Koto playing 50 and above test matches for the Flying Fijians.
Qera was also presented with the jersey for the remarkable occasion by head coach John McKEE.
“I am so glad to be with the much talented team and on this day I would like to thank the god, my wife, kids, family members plus the great team officials.”
The Flying Fijians captain also presented jerseys to his team mates and revealed that this has been a wonderful Rugby World Cup.
“Before we started this journey we were focused and even though we have lost two games we are still focused and all know the hard yard in front of them plus the level of game we have to play against Wales.”
The skipper calling on his players to give their best when they face Wales for the third time in the Rugby World Cup.
“For us we have a great game tomorrow and we have prepared well to take on Wales in a very important match.”
