116 students graduated from Sabeto based Fulton College yesterday.
The teaching fraternity, family and friends turned up in numbers to witness the occasion at the college.
Fulton College is a Seventh Day Adventist Church tertiary institution.
Chief guest at the graduation was President, Major General Jioji Konrote.
It was also the Head of State’s first speaking engagement.
“As you leave this institution you must make the most of your newly acquired knowledge where ever you are going to work. You have endured many sacrifices. All the hard work over the years especially this year has finally come to fruit. Your vision, plans, commitment and the discipline you have developed have now paid off,” encouraged President Konrote.
President Konrote lamenting graduations such as this that reflect Government’s bid for a educated and working society.
“As a former government minister responsible for Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations I know that all governments aspire for young people like you to be educated and to return and contribute positively to the social, economic development of your respective countries,” he highlighted.
