Fiji’s High Commissioner to New Zealand Filimone Waqabaca aims to further strengthen Fiji’s bilateral relationship with New Zealand.
Waqabaca yesterday presented his credentials to New Zealand’s Governor General Sir Jerry Mateparae at Government House in Wellington.
The newly appointed High Commissioner said both countries share a long standing relationship that have endured the test of recent times.
Waqabaca adds this is something he and his staff of the High Commission were looking to strengthen through mutual co-operation and partnerships on global challenges such as peace and security, climate change and sustainable development.
