A total of 2034 students have so far chosen to register with the Fijian Elections Office in the first week of the 2016.

This is an increase from last year’s drive which recorded 1331 new registrations after week one.
Supervisor of Election, Mohammed Saneem said that this large increase in student registrations is an indication of the growing level of interest that younger generations in Fiji have in election.
FEO teams will visit high schools, special needs schools and technical colleges around Fiji with the aim to provide convenient voter services to students over the age of 18. the electoral process
FEO has visited 55 schools so far including Koro High School.
The School Voter Registration Drive began on Monday 6 June 2016 and ends on Friday 1 July 2016.
