The National Airline and flag carrier of Fiji, Fiji Airways, today celebrated the country’s 46th Independence Day by restoring the Fiji flag on its aircraft.
The flag is a common expression of national pride for flag carriers, and today it returned to its rightful place to feature prominently on Fiji Airways and Fiji Link aircraft.
In an unveiling event at Nadi Airport, the last flag was revealed by the airline group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Andre Viljoen on a Fiji Link ATR aircraft.
All 15 aircraft in its fleet have had the Fiji flag affixed to the front of the plane, proudly carrying the national symbol to over 18 destinations in 11 countries.
This is reflective of the genuine Fijian hospitality and spirit the airline aims to embody.
