The Republic of the Fiji Military Force has today assured the nation that there should be no concern on the level of national security in the country.
Acting Commander Commodore Viliame Naupoto made the comments while officiating at the National Youth Band graduation ceremony today.
It was an assurance many investors and the public wanted to hear from the Acting Army Commander.
Commodore Viliame Naupoto said that there is no hiding of the facts on the important role they play.
“RFMF as an institution plays a big role in this growth because security and stability is the other will on the same excel as development without security and stability there is no development,” said Commodore Viliame Naupoto (Acting RFMF Commander)
With our current economic growth the head of the RFMF believes that we can only expect our performance to get better.
“The country is going through a period of unprecedented economic growth it has been reported that 2014 shows a growth of 5.3% and the predication and indication points towards a good growth rate for this year also,” said Naupoto.
And on the national security matters he assured the nation that it is in safe hands.
“The current growth that we are enjoying there for tell us that we are secure and stable also and I can assure the nation that RFMF will diligently performed its role as outline for us in the constitution and ensure that the current stability and peaceful state of the nation remains as we collectively build a better Fiji for all Fijians,” said Naupoto
