A campaign with a difference is taking place today to mark World Suicide Prevention and World Mental Health celebrations.
Youths from 4 Mental Health are on a 24 hour silencing stigma campaign in Suva and Lautoka.
The main purpose of the program is to create public awareness of issues such as suicide and mental illness and to educate people on the need to eradicate stigma associated with suicide and mental illness.
Youths are seen here stationed in Suva city to spread messages of hope.
They will also spend the night on the streets to gain firsthand experience of what it feels like to be abandoned, rejected from society and to be homeless.
The campaign started at 7am today and will end at 7am tomorrow.
